Planica proudly hosted another World Snow Day event, fourth in a row, of which it can be said that it was the best so far. Nice weather, great facilities, loyal partners of the event and eager young sports-fans made sure that the event will be remembered for a long time.

Children participated in Cross-country, sledding, tubing, ice-hockey and many other winter activities but the star of the day was the mobile miniature ski-jumping hill, a project of the former ski-jumping World Champion, Franci Petek.

Kids made their first ski-jumps with professional guides, trainers and of course Mr. Petek and couldn’t wait to take their turn on the exciting ski-jumping hill, called Mini Planica. Many showed excellent skills and we wouldn’t be surprised to see them as top competitors in a decade or so.

We are sure that all the visitors of Planica had a great day on snow and that they will surely return to this event in the following years.
