Celebration of the "World Snow Day" event with the campaign "A thousand skis for our children" with the support of the "TechnoAlpin" snowmaking company
In honor of the World Snow Day event, the Olympic bar was a place of unsurpassed fun on Sunday, January 15th. Located at the top of Jahorina, and 1,879 meters above sea level, this true restaurant gem was a meeting place of as many as 100 children, participants of the campaign called "A thousand skis for our children".
Boys and girls of the region have gathered at the official ski awarding ceremony, as part of the campaign initiated by the CEO of the Jahorina Olympic Center, Dejan Ljevnaic, which was supported by one of their most important, long-term partners, TechnoAlpin, who has donated as many as 300 pairs of skis. The distribution of 100 pairs of skis, the rest of which will be given to numerous children in the allocations that will follow, was preceded by a press conference in which the CEO of Jahorina Olympic Center, Dejan Ljevanic, and Erich Gummerer, CEO of TechnoAlpin took part. Beyond happy to do their part and give their best in creating a better, more promising and healthier future for the children or even participate in the creation process of new skiers who will one day defend the colors of our countries’ flags, they joyfully assigned every boy and girl a pair of skis.
The official ski awarding ceremony, during which as many as 100 pairs of exceptionally high-quality skis were handed over to a smiling crowd of youth, was followed by a party that doubled the fun in the Olympic bar. At exactly 12:00 p.m, the Children's Choir "Vrapcici" performed, whose hits were sung out loud by the children present, as well as their parents. The party continued on the slopes - a 50% discount on ski tickets for Jahorina's youngest visitors was awarded to every child visiting the mountain. All of them endlessly enjoyed skiing on its snow trails, during the day and in the evening.
