The fun on Klumpers in Tulfes in Tyrol was a really nice event. Many guests (yound and old) had a lot of fun on the World Snow Day 2013.

And what is so good is that you don't need to be a top sportsman to use a klumper. Children, parents, even grandparents, glide easily downhill and can demonstrate newly-acquired skills in the slalom race. Anyone can take part and it only costs a small entry fee. Every entrant in the guest category receives as a souvenir a small wooden klumper and a certificate. Afterwards you can enjoy a warming glass of glühwein in the cosy mountain hut and then sit among the ranks of klumper experts and discuss questions of style and cornering technique. If you prefer to watch, you are very welcome to stand beside the illuminated piste and enjoy the romantic wintry scene.
