Bușteni is a one of the most attractive mountain resorts in cental Romania, offering spectacular views. It is located at the bottom of the Bucegi mountains, that have maximum altitude of 2505m.
Its name literally means “tree-logs” in Romanian.
The 3rd World Snow Day event was a part of the promotional activities of our ski resort.
The day was full of smiles, positive mood, competition and prizes, although it was a few snow.
Our goal was to bring as many children and their families to enjoy the snow and the health benefits of snow sports.
The children from local school were invited to receive free ski lessons offered by local ski instructors and after the lessons all of them participate to a public ski race.
They also were invited to enjoy the Fun Park with snowtubing, karusel ans games.
Many parents and teachers attended the event.
At the end of the day each participant were awarded with prizes and gifts and a diploma from FIS, for participating at the World Snow Day 2014.
The event was a great succes!
Next year we will bring more people that are not skiers to show them how much fun they are missing!
